Borrellski
is the creative moniker of Alex Borrell, an artist and designer working with space, object, and video. The name is a humorous nod to his polish heritage, where surnames typically end with ski.
Borrellski is interested in processes and our relationships with materials, time, culture, climate and the non-human world. His practice wanders between the precisely tested, fabricated and detailed and a world of ephemeral digital pieces.
He teaches at the Architectural Association in London, and has previously taught on master programmes at the Bartlett School of Architecture and the University for the Creative Arts.
