Borrellski

is the creative moniker of Alex Borrell, an artist and designer working with space, object, and video. The name is a humorous nod to his polish heritage, where surnames typically end with ski.

Borrellski is interested in processes and our relationships with materials, time, culture and the non-human world. His practice wanders between the precisely tested, fabricated and detailed and a world of ephemeral pieces.

He has taught on master programmes at the Bartlett School of Architecture and the University for the Creative Arts.

His work has been shown at the Vitra Design Museum, V&A Dundee, MAAT Lisbon, the National Museum of Singapore, and the Sharjah Triennial 2023.
